My money is on no. Sorry
I cant remember...went there with sole purpose of by garlic sausage. Which by the way was freaking delicious. Cooks up great on the bbq. Call and ask about the bacon. Courteous staff

Amazing taste and value. Quick and friendly service. Just like grandma used to make. Recommend to anyone looking for great authentic Ukrainian food!
Great place! Something different that has real good food for a great price! Will go back on my trips to Edmonton!!!
Very good selection of Ukrainian foods - stick to the ribs food.
First time here.....but definitely not our last. Food is incredible and comforting, and great value. The service is exemplary!!!! Especially Victoria, our server. A large majority of the restaurants in Edmonton could learn from this establishment. Genuine and personalized service.
Go early for lunch or wait in line... It's always busy because the food is excellent, the service is great and the price are still really reasonable... Unlike some restaurants now a days. They close at 7pm so go early or be disappointed. Love this beverly hidden gem!
Great lunch! The large bowl of borscht was just what I needed on a cold gloomy afternoon. You have to have borscht! Just like Mom's! It's tough to pick a favorite item so you get a combination plate! Yummy! Staff are very helpful and nice!
Meals are tasty...very small pieces of food( miniature instead of regular size which makes it pricey for the miniature size).... the perogies are great looking and tasty, but unfortunately the perogies they serve in the restaurant are not the same as the ones they sell frozen ( I prefer ones in the restaurant more authentic looking and tasty) I asked why perogies served and ones frozen are not the same , they try to convince me they are as they are trying to explain away different cheeses , dough etc is why perogies seem different( but still trying to convince me they're the same) so I never get an honest answer ....
Excellent and reasonably priced food. I really enjoyed my meal. Very good home made pie. Also had excellent service. I will go to this casual restaurant again.
Wife likes it closes at 7 pm so get there by 5:30 for supper
The food is always delicious here, though kind of heavy (yeah, Ukrainian food!) We often have to wait a while as it is very busy and closes earlier than most dinner restaurants. They have a little store attached to it where you can buy Ukrainian foods. A great place to come when you don't feel like cooking but want something that tastes like home.
We came to this restaurant for dinner. we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, it was a winning. the staff members were so friendly and we felt very good. The meal was tasty. We had a great time and we shall definitely come back again. Recommended.
Perogies are comfort food for me. This visit didn't disappoint! We were seated immediately and our server was friendly and helpful. Our coffee was delivered promptly and order taken. I had somewhat complicated requests because I wanted my meal very specific and was accommodated without issue. The food came within a few minutes and was exactly as ordered. It was hot, fresh and delicious! Since we'd arrived just at the start of the dinner rush the restaurant had filled up quickly while we ate so the service staff was busy and didn't offer refills on coffee until we were done eating. The quality of the food and service would make one expect an expensive meal but the prices are very reasonable. The opening hours are shorter than a lot of places so timing a visit is a tiny bit challenging but oh so worth it!
Sevice was great. Food was amazing. Definitively on our list of favorites!
Vidminno!! (Excellent in Ukrainian) the best Ukrainian food in Edmonton. For taste and value this is the best. The food was served fast and hot. The service was friendly and courteous. We did not have to wait long, although I have heard that there can be longer wait times at lunchtime or other peak times. We have been coming here lots over the years and have always enjoyed the food. It is not a large restaurant so that is why it can have longer wait times. The cheddar cheese pierogies are melt in your mouth good. The combo plate of pierogies, crepes, sweet cabbage rolls, ribs is the best. The restaurant is clean as is washroom. Just love this place and will continue to come. Oh and by the way they also have a retail store that sells the Stawnichy’s sausage plus their pierogies.
Great food excellent service
Nice family-based institution serving authentic Canadian-Ukrainian meals. Huge portions; go with an appetite.
It's cheap, but oh so tasty. Authentic Ukrainian food, and a great meat selection from the deli!
What a gem this place is. Great Ukrainian food for a great price. The grocery side is full of great deli and sausages to take home.
Very nice setting! Food was great! Price even better! So going back!!!! Kudos!!!
Literally everything about this place is perfect from the overall vibe to the staff, facility itself, service, prices, cleanliness and of course food. The attached deli/store area is an added bonus and always seems busy. Goodluck getting a seat during the lunchrush!
Awesome food but didn't refill our coffee :'(
I love coming here, the best food and the most welcoming environment.
Great food you cant get anywhere else in the city and really cheap prices, ive been going there my whole life. The people are very friendly and they have a huge variety of goods.
Excellent place to pick up your perogies, meats, soups and various other frozen or jarred and packaged products to choose from.Great little restaurant with tasty authentic Ukrainian dishes.parking is right in front, arrive slightly early if heading for dinner it can tend to get busy which is a good thing, means the foods good! All hand made fresh deliciousness.
Great perogies, very affordable for what you get, and the staff ladies are very nice and helpful. The service is quick too. It seems pretty popular in the neighborhood and amongst seniors customers.
Rose Mcinnis mom and Joyce Clifford had an awesome lunch with great service.
Great prices and even better food. Will be coming back here as much as I can
It was many years ago when i was about 6 and they had an all you can eat buffet..... well. All you can eat Ice Cream! To a 6 year old with Grandma and Grandpa. Well i ate SOOOO much i started to shiver and they had to refill the machine! Grandma made me a coffee creamer and sugar drink to warm me up while i was waiting to eat more. Its a very fond memory i have and to see it still operating is just a nice trip back in time and remembering them. Found the place while picking up skip the dishes for delivery. A very happy day! Enjoy your memories of your loved ones! Don't avoid happy places.
Food was great huge portions. Waitress was very friendly and funny. Try the Ukrainian beer!!!
Uncle Ed's combination dish #13 proved to be a great Hockey Fan pre-game meal. Oilers beat Capitals 4-1 whoop whoop! Tried some authentic Ukrainian beer too at U. Ed's. It was good.
Best place in Edmonton to get fresh or frozen perogies. We come here often for our work lunches. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and a down home eating environment. Definitely one of Edmonton's best food places to visit while you're here.
Tons of food, great price. It is a bit greasy for my tastes but it is a local favourite for many
Awesome food, excellent service. The waitresses are friendly, curtious, and efficient. The food is high quality, large servings, and there isn't a long wait for it. My family, and I are visiting Edmonton from BC. So we had an excellent first time visit to uncle Ed's.
The best Ukraine food I’ve had next to my moms.
Bit pricey for portions food does taste awesome though
Super tasty traditional Ukrainian food and friendly service. Would definitely come back!
First time eating here and I will definitely be back. Food was delicious and the service was awesome. On the way out I bought some sausage and pepperoni which was so fresh and affordable. I recommend for anyone who like Ukrainian food.
The food was good, for a restaurant. I was a bit disappointed that the cabbage rolls and perogies were a bit tasteless. The hype for the restaurant was very high. The sausage was excellent!! Once we finally got seated, the service was okay, although I didn't get exactly as I ordered. I ate it anyway, as I didn't want to wait any longer. There was a huge table reserved, although it sat empty for 45 minutes before the party arrived. It would have been more efficient to use it for all the people waiting (as long as 50 minutes) and then reserve it for closer to the arrival time. Overall, it was okay.
My family and I love this place. Not only is it very affordable but they employ some of the nicest staff around. The food is always on point and the store portion of the space always has delicious treasures to find.
I may have been really hungry when I came here, but oh, was it all worth it to save my appetite for this lunch. We ordered full plates of the sausage and meatballs. The perogies, cabbage rolls & cheese cakes were soooo delicious. I cannot wait to come here again. Staff was amazing too and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Why we didn't come to this place years earlier is beyond me!
Quiet Friday afternoon when I went in, waitress greeted me, told me to seat myself, promptly have me a menu, and took my drink order. Came back in a timely fashion, took my order, and I was pleased with the presentation, food, and overall experience.
We had the Borscht soup, let me tell you it’s the best. We shared the perogies and sausage platter. The best I’ve had ever. This restaurant is a Jem The staff is so kind and professional. Also helping each other with the customers. I highly recommended this place for lunch or supper. We will be back
Food was good. I went there with friend. Services was great. Staff were courteous. Great presentation of food. Great location.
Exceptional and fresh food, I liked the character this place has, and the staff members were friendly. I will definitely visit here again.
Delicious traditional food, deli and a great gift shop with Ukranian goods.
Best Ukrainian restaurant in Edmonton. Recommend all the food. Cottage cheese perogies are my favourite. Deli and store section is amazing. The cabbage rolls and kubasa can't be beat.
My trip to Burger Boy was a later in the evening trip. When I think of later evening fast food, I tend to get nervous thinking that this is going to be their leftovers and I don't cares. But that was not the case. The food seemed freshly made, tasted it as well. There restaurant was clean and being cleaned while we sat there.
This place is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I I need a decent meal, this restaurant comes straight to my head. best and all sorts of food and a rich menu.courteous staff, and great atmosphere. In addition to that, the charge is affordable. I sent my friends to this restaurant with great pleasure.
Nice Ukrainian food at a very reasonable price.
This place is an institution. The platters are amazing and huge. The servers are warm and friendly. If you haven't been here, what are your waiting for?
